During its March 19 meeting, the Rondout Valley Central School District Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Paul Spadaro, Ph.D. as the District’s new superintendent of schools. He will replace Joseph Morgan, Ed.D., who is retiring this summer after six years at the helm of the District.
In an inspiring initiative, a group of Rondout Valley Central School District (RVCSD) students and staff members have taken up the mantle of advocacy through the formation of a Special Education Advocacy Committee. This dynamic and compassionate group is reshaping the landscape of support and understanding for students within the school community.
For the sixth year in a row, the Rondout Valley Central School District (RVCSD) has been honored with a “Best Communities for Music Education” designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. This is the seventh time that Rondout Valley has been awarded this distinction.

Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education of the Rondout Valley Central School District will be available online and at the District Office, Kyserike Road, Accord, beginning on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Applications are available for both the 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Programs! Children must be either 3 or 4 years old by December 1, 2024 and a resident of the Rondout Valley Central School District.
