It's time to prepare for Kindergarten registration!
The Rondout Valley Central School District (RVCSD) is pleased to announce that six students have been recognized in the 2024 Hudson Valley Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition. The talented students in Grades 8-12, who competed against thousands of student artists from throughout the region, were honored with Gold and Silver Key awards.
We are pleased to share the compiled results of our recent School Climate Survey, a significant undertaking to gather insights from students, staff, and parents/guardians. The survey, conducted in the Spring of 2023, covered a range of topics regarding your child's learning, school safety, relationships, and overall school environment.
The Rondout Valley Central School District is pleased to announce that Natalie Harjes has joined the District as its Director of Curriculum. This newly created position is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of curriculum initiatives across all K-12 educational programs.
After the program’s successful debut last May, Rondout Valley brought back “Unity Days” for Grade 7 and Grade 9 students this fall. This social-emotional learning program is designed to help students develop empathy, understanding, and a connection to their peers, with the goal of reducing isolation and exclusion within the school community.
